An excellent presentation by Dan Pink on the Science of Motivation. With my personal experience of working in and with the corporate world, I found Pink's argument to ring true. It's important to understand how to lead a team ... to understand that leadership does not equate dictatorship. Assessing a team's weaknesses and strengths, and then specifically designing opportunities to nurture both is always a challenge. A challenge well worth the effort. It is imperative to fully understand the function and affect of motivation.
